Review: Maybelline Forever Strong Nail Polish [Rouge Profound Deep Red]

I got the Maybelline Forever Strong Nail Polish in the colour Rouge Profound Deep Red from Superdrug recently. I am really liking it and I would like to share with you all.

What I like: With just 1 coat, it gave a really nice opague red colour on your nails already. By adding one more coat, the colour payoff was extremely vibrant! The consistency was quite good for a drugstore nail polish, it's neither too watery nor too thick. It does not have a really strong 'usual nail polish' scent, which was a big plus for me as I really dislike the smell of those chemicals. The brush head is rounded and it's quite easy to apply.

What I dislike: It would be better if the brush is a little smaller 'cause my nails are small. :P

Overall, I think this colour makes my hands look really white and I will give it a 4.5/5 :)

You can find this product here: http://www.superdrug.com/maybelline/maybelline-forever-strong-nail-polish-deep-red/invt/412449 *Maybelline is doing a sale in the drugstores now. Buy 2 and get the 2nd product 1/2 price, be sure to check that out! :)

Disclaimer: The product is bought from my own money, all my opinion are honest and non-biased.

NOTD: Barry M

After reading all the positive reviews on the internet, I decided to purchase this Hi-Shine Nail Polish from Barry M. Gosh, it's really nice. The colour pay off is brilliant and it's literally 'high shine' - super glossy. You will have a feeling that you don't have to put on topcoat after apply 1 coat of this polish. Here are the pictures of my nails.

NOTD: Chanel

I own a few Chanel polishes but all are in Hong Kong's home at the moment so I don't really have chance to paint with those. Recently, one of my really good friends bought me some new nail polishes from the Chanel Spring 2013 collection and I tried to paint them on my nails. He bought me May 535 and Frisson 543. And I tried 535 May today :)

NOTD: Look Beauty

Look Beauty's Nail Pop nail varnishes always surprise me with its colour paid off whenever I use it. I used Grape Juice today. Look at the colour below! With 2 coats, it gave me a really nice opague purple colour :) And I think these nail polishes are very affordable, selling at £5 each. I got them online which was even cheaper, 2 for £6! Such a bargain :D I might get some more of these later on! Love them <3

NOTD: L'Oreal

I painted my nails yesterday with a new nail polish I bought from Superdrugs for the sake of the V day. But aww I love this nude pink colour so much, it makes my hands look whiter now. I am pretty impressed by the colour for this nail polish, with one coat, it's quite opague already. I wanted a more solid pink color, therefore I went for 2 coats and topped with my Sally Hansen top cat. Even my boyfriend praised my nail color (first time he did that :-o) during our vday dinner. I am really like this collection of nail polishes, the packaging looks really nice as well. Mini but elegant :)

NOTD: Korres

My first Korres High shine/ long-lasting nail polish [45 Coral]
I love coral colours so much and have a few coral nail polishes.. AND this is the brightest coral colour I have ever own.
Let's talk about the consistency of this polish, quite good, the brush takes up quite a lot of product actually.. but the amount is good enough for one nail. The brush is quite soft and not too flat which you can paint your nails fully with a few swipes. I think the coverage is awesome, for one coat, you can already see a really opaque coverage. I applied one more coat as I wanted my nails to look more shiny, haha. I really think this nail polish is quite worth-buying as it is only £4.50 on ASOS :)

I applied 'Models Own' 3 in 1 top/base coat, 2 coats of Korres Coral and finished with 'Models Own' top/base coat.

How the bottle looks like..

The color code :)
